With the advancement in applied sciences and technology, these fields have become increasingly sophisticated and interdisciplinary related. In line with this trend, the International Conference on Applied Science and Technology (ICAST 2020) is expected to provide an international platform that allows researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share and discuss their latest research, ideas, and survey reports in the theoretical and practical areas regarding all aspects of Technology and Applied Sciences. Prospective authors are welcome to submit their full papers or abstracts. All submissions to the conference will go through blind review processes by at least two independent peers.
ICAST 2020 enables collaboration between science and technologists in the academic and industrial fields as well as international networks. The conference allows for substantial opportunities for presentation and academic discourse. In addition, poster sessions and exhibitions offer ample opportunity for information exchange among delegates and participants on a more personal level, especially for those who are looking for collaborative opportunities. Attendees will find various activities useful in bringing together a diverse group of scientists and technologists of various disciplines for the generation of new ideas, potential collaboration, and business opportunities. The professionals from the industry, academia and government research and development, professional practice, business and management in the science, and technology fields are all welcome to the ICAST 2020.

Registration fees include conference admission, publication fees, conference kits, lunches, and refreshments. These fees do NOT include accommodation.
Abstracts without the completed paper will NOT be accepted. Papers for the presentation at the conference will be selected through the double-blind review process. Please ensure that the authors' names do not appear in the submitted paper.
At least one author for each accepted paper must register and pay the fees for the conference by 28 February 2020 in order for the paper to be included in the program and the conference proceedings. By submitting a paper to present at the ICAST, you explicitly agree that you will definitely have a fund and shall register for the conference.
All accepted papers will be published in Scopus Journal* or other indexed journals.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Abdul Latif Ahmad CEng., FIChemE, P.Eng
Prof. Ir. Dr. Abdul Latif is currently the Director of Nexus Engineering, USM. He was the Dean of School of Chemical Engineering, USM for 2005-2010 and Research Dean, Science Fundamental Platform for 2010-2012. He obtained his BEng, MSc, and PhD from the University of Wales, Swansea, UK. Being a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow to The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), UK, he is frequently being appointed by IChemE to accredit Chemical Engineering Program in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Malaysia. He is an internationally renowned researcher and an internationally acclaimed award-winning researcher in membrane science and technology. His enthusiasm and dedication towards his research works have been reflected in his achievements in winning numerous scientific invention awards. To date, a total of 58 personal achievement awards and 69 research product awards have been won. His active participation in scientific research has also been exhibited by being the recipient of multiple research grants in various disciplines sponsored by government and non-government bodies, with a cumulative value of more than RM 30.0 million. His capability in carrying out quality research work of international standards has been further supported by the publication of 398 articles in high impact factor international refereed journals, with current cumulative citation number of 14,024 and h-index of 54. As a tenacious educator, he showed dedication towards the supervision of postgraduate students, by successfully graduating 46 PhD and 67 master students. With his persevering attitude, he is veritably a source of inspiration to hundreds of his former students spread throughout the globe.

Ts. Dr. Aidi Ahmi is an associate professor at the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He obtained his PhD. in 2013, in Information Systems and Computing from Brunel University London, United Kingdom. He has authored and co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications so far, and successfully supervised 7 PhD scholars. His research focused on accounting information systems, auditing, e-commerce, ICT, supply chain and sustainability.
